The Verdun Memorial and the fort of Douaumont: discover both exceptional sites at the heart of the Verdun Battlefield. 

Ticket validity 2025–2026
Tickets purchased now and until 4 January 2026 are valid until 4 January 2026 inclusive only.
For any visits planned between 2 February 2026 and 31 December 2026, tickets will be available for purchase from 5 January 2026.

The Verdun Memorial and Fort Douaumont will be open free of charge on 31 December 2025 from 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. No advance booking is required.

Closing days
All sites: 24 and 25 December 2025, 1 January 2026 and from 5 January to 1 February 2026 inclusive.
