The Verdun Memorial, founded in 1967 and completely renovated in 2016, is a museum offering an immersion into the battle. Thanks to a unique collection and exceptional audiovisual displays, you can get a close-up view of the experience of the soldiers, both French and German, on the Verdun battlefield.

Opening times of the Memorial :
Reopening 3 February 2025: open from 2 to 5:30 p.m.
From 4 February 2025 to 4 April 2025: open every day from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm
From 5 April 2025 to 21 September 2025: open every day from 9.30 am to 6.30 pm
From 22 September 2025 to 31 December 2025: open every day from 9.30 am to 5.30 pm
The three sites are closed from 5 January 2025 to 2 February 2025, 24 and 25 December 2025 and January 2026.
Last admission 45 minutes before the closure of the Verdun Memorial and 30 minutes before the closure of the Douaumont and Vaux forts.
