Visit of the Verdun Memorial

The Verdun Memorial, founded in 1967 and completely renovated in 2016, is a museum offering an immersion into the battle. Thanks to a unique collection and exceptional audiovisual displays, you can get a close-up view of the experience of the soldiers, both French and German, on the Verdun battlefield.
The Verdun Memorial and Fort Douaumont will be open free of charge on 31 December 2025 from 9.30am to 5.30pm. No advance booking is required.
